Public rental terms overview

This page is the customer-facing reference point for how standard catalog rentals are priced and handled. Quote-specific terms can override these points when Rentify confirms them in writing for a custom setup.

Pricing and rate basis

Every listed catalog price is a standard 24-hour rental rate for that item.

The checkout total is calculated from the daily rate multiplied by the number of rental days you select.

Weekly and monthly hires are handled through direct pricing rather than automatic catalog discounts, so longer bookings should be confirmed with the team before payment.

Delivery, setup, technician support, and venue-specific add-ons are only included when they are clearly stated in the booking or quote.

Payment and deposit policy

For standard catalog rentals, payment at checkout is what reserves the equipment for your dates.

Some custom, higher-risk, or higher-value bookings may require a refundable security deposit in addition to the rental charge.

If a deposit is required, Rentify confirms that amount before payment is taken so there is no surprise after checkout.

Returns and late fees

Pickup, delivery, and return timing are confirmed with you during the handoff process or follow-up after payment.

If equipment is returned after the agreed return window and it affects scheduling, an extra rental day may be charged at the active daily rate for each affected item.

If plans change, customers should contact Rentify as early as possible so the return can be re-coordinated before a late fee becomes necessary.

Damage, loss, and missing items

Customers are responsible for equipment damage beyond normal wear and tear during the rental period.

This includes missing or damaged microphones, cables, adapters, cases, power supplies, mounts, and other accessories released with the booking.

Repair or replacement charges are based on the actual item condition and what is needed to restore or replace the affected gear.

Quoted and custom setups

Custom event quotes follow the same base rental principles, but delivery, staffing, deposits, and schedule requirements may be tailored to that job.

When a written quote includes specific terms, that quote takes priority over the general catalog guidance for that booking.
